Hello everyone!  My name is Erin Jacobi and I am currently a Senior at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, majoring in Art Education.  Currently I am Secretary of the National Art Education Association-Stout Chapter and am heavily involved with Children's Art Club, a program created to teach local children about art.  

I am from a small town called Woodruff, Wisconsin, located about an hour from the Wisconsin-Michigan border.  In my spare time I love to read, take photos of the beautiful nature of the Northwoods, and play with my beautiful dogs.  

As a future art teacher, I want to help students discover their inner artist, and to show them how art can convey their own opinions, beliefs, and personality within their works.  My parents taught me that by working hard, your efforts will pay off in the end, and I hope to apply that to when I begin teaching my future art students.  To quote Bob Ross, "Talent is a pursued interest.  In other words, anything that you're willing to practice, you can do."
